lest see the Best ROI universities in US for 2025
let’s talk about the universities that have one of the best computer science program for international students. this is purely based on my experience working with hundreds of students and of course this is my opinion. it is not influenced or biased by any ranking website like Qs Qs ranking or US News ranking or any other ranking webite. so don’t be surprised if you don’t find CMU in my list. this is purely based on four factor which I feel are very crucial for inter students.

This table includes universities mentioned in the text along with details on location, tuition, starting salaries, requirements, top employers, and additional notes for each.
number one is the cost. CMU is a private university and hence very expensive and besides expensive at the same time it is very selective. the acceptance rate is extremely low and hence the CMU is in not in my list. the second factor is the placement go the salary package student get straight out of the college highest package lowest package the average package the percent of students who get the job within the first 6 month of graduation Etc.
the third factor is the location certain Geographic locations are socalled heaven for CS students to find local jobs to find internships and so forth. and lastly the fourth factor is the acceptance rate. the university going to have high acceptance rate or a favorable acceptance rate for international students. if it does not have I wouldn’t include in my list. so don’t be surprised if you don’t see MIT in my list that’s another spoiler that because MIT is also very selective College. you won’t easily get into MIT and same as is the CMU.
so these two universities although they have one of the best MS program mscs program but they are not in my list. my list comprises universities that have comparatively decent acceptance rate and of course have very high Roi a return on investment so that an average student with an average profile can easily get in or with some hard work and you know if they work on their profile they can easily get into those universities. so without wasting any more time let’s get started.
1.University of California, Berkeley-Best ROI universities in US for 2025
the first one on my list is UC Berkeley the number one in California University system the number one Public University in US public hence it is Affordable. the tution fees is only $33,000 per year the biggest advantage of UC berlay is it places you to very close proximity with the Bay Area just 45 minutes away from it. the students who graduate with mscs from this University Ely get an average salary of $129,000 one of the highest in the US.
the companies like Cisco Adobe meta Amazon arbnb eBay abot and many more and the best part is the gr is not required for this University. all you need is tofel score this is my favorite University and number one University in terms of Ry besides UC beray.
2.University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC)-ROI universities in US for 2025
the next one that I like very much is uiu University of Illinois at Urban shamin. I cannot stress enough with the tution fee just over 38,000 per year it is one of the most affordable and value for the buck school.
it has one of the strongest CS program in the country and has given one of the most notable engineers and entrepreneurs in fact two of the YouTube co-founders were from the same University from the same program. thanks to those students who graduate from us U with mscs program get an average starting Sal of 131k right after the graduation and an additional $223,000 bonus. they routinely join companies like Amazon Apple Nvidia meta and Intel.
3.Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech)-Best ROI universities in US for 2025
when I’m talking about these Best ROI universities in US for 2025, how can I not talk about the third University that is on my list Georgia Tech. located in the heart of Georgia Atlanta a tech job hub for it and software company compies. they have one of the best MSS program they offer 11 specializations from human computer interaction to social Computing to machine learning high performance Computing and many others.
and the beauty is they offer both thesis and non thesis options to Ms students. and you know what I mean if you sign up for a thesis you will work with some faculty in the university and most likely the UN The Faculty is going to pick up you know your tution fees either fully or partially. so there is a high chance that if you sign up for MSB thesis you will study free of cost there more on this will be coming in future videos.
if you look at the employment statistics of Georgia Tech they are very strong fresh out of the University students can expect to make median salary of about 125k us with an additional bonus of 20K. this is one of the very high return on your investment considering the tution fees for Georgia Tech is only 177,000 per semester. the next one will blow your mind in terms of Roi in terms of cost of attendance and that is per University.
with only 15,000 semester fees per do University Stands Tall in the list of best CS universities. it is one of the most affordable University in us with one of the best CS curriculum the students who graduate from University with mscs program can expect to make a starting salary while this depends upon region to region. but let’s take a look at this this is an employment report from Perdue univiversity and you can see they have divided area wise the highest lowest packages.
you can see the average package in the West Was about 134k and the highest was 240k and the lowest was 81k and the situation is saying name in the Northeast Midwest West or across the US. so definitely it has a very high return on investment especially considering that University is super cheap super economical where do these students get placed. well these get placed in apple Microsoft Google Amazon meta.
and if you want to make it to this University I have one tip for you keep your GPA High most of the successful applicants have major and cumulative GPA above 3.5 out of 4 or 8.5 out of 10 or 85%. so keep your GP high if you want to get into this University. the only other university that can beat this amazing University that I just talked about in terms of tution fees is UT Austin.
with tution fees for mscs program for international students with just little over 18,000 for two semesters. this is unarguably one of the best university in terms of Roi it is one of the best university in Texas University system and also comes in the top 10 best public schools in the nation for the graduate programs and the cherry on the top. they do not require gr for many programs its location provides an another strategic advantage to this University.
it’s right in the Austin area and we all know what Austin is famous for the tech jobs and Indian population which has only been increasing year over year. this is my favorite JY I have sent many students to this this University and all of them have provided me a very very strong feedback about this University about this MSS program. Texas in general is very very economical State and students love this state and love this University.
and on top of that Texas also does not have any state tax so if you as a student work in taxes you don’t have to pay the state tax that makes this University even more economical and that’s why students love this University. I cannot stress enough that how how much positive feedback I got from students. now Beyond these five universities that I’ve just mentioned there are other universities that I my my favorite and one of them is UCLA.
amazing University amazing campus amazing location and uh in amazing placement record the next one which I like the most is University of Michigan andar another one of my favorite University UNCC Chapel Hill UC Davis another California University and UC Iran again California University. these were my top universities for Ms CS program for international students in terms of R you are of course most welcome to do your own research.
